St. Mary’s Cemetery Clean-Up

November 2, 2012 By eastwickpress

Each year during the months of April and November a general cleanup is conducted within the St. Mary’s Cemetery. We wish to remind lot owners and visitors of their responsibility for removing any and all decorations on the lot, especially any they may wish to save, prior to Monday, November 5.
As a reminder, plastic of any kind, glass, all metal, styrofoam, solar decorations and objects are not allowed. Items placed on an interment space are placed there at the lot holder’s risk. Natural materials that are environmentally safe and biodegradable are encouraged and welcomed.
American flags are allowed on Veteran’s Day, November 11, and may remain until the- end of the month, November 31.
Fresh wreaths and Christmas arrangements may be placed during the Church Christmas Season beginning December 15 and ending January 15.
St. Mary’s Cemetery’s sacred ground serves as a resting place for the faithful departed. Thank you to all families and visitors who continue to help maintain the beauty of the Cemetery.
