Troop 222’s Wreath Sale Successful

November 21, 2012 By eastwickpress

submitted by Andrew Zlotnick
Boy Scouts from Troop 222 in Petersburgh sold wreaths as a fundraiser on Sunday, November 18, at the Stewart’s shops in Berlin and Hoosick. The boys had a very successful sale, and they thank everyone who purchased wreaths or made donations to the Troop. Part of the proceeds from the sale will be going to help fund the boys’ summer camp costs. Anyone willing to donate to the Troop or who might want a wreath can contact Jim Akers, Scoutmaster, at 518-728-0352. The public will have one more chance to purchase these wreaths at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center (PVMCC)  located on Rt. 2 in Petersburgh on Saturday, December 8, from 9 am to 1 pm  at the Craft Fair being held at the PVMCC Hall.
Any boy between the ages of 11 and 17 can join the Troop by stopping by a meeting on the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:30 pm at the PVMCC in Petersburgh.
