Shaker Museum|Mount Lebanon Needs Your Help

December 21, 2012 By eastwickpress

As of today, the Shaker Museum|Mount Lebanon has raised $79,000 towards the $100,000 Ellsworth Kelly Foundation Challenge Grant. With only $21,000 to go to reach our goal by January 1 – we are counting everything. Anything you contribute to the Shaker Museum will be included and doubled by the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation. This includes your annual membership, monthly donation payments and pledges. The impact of your gift will be great. You will be helping us preserve and share both the most comprehensive Shaker collection and the most significant Shaker site.
Help us reach our goal by January 1, and support the museum all year in 2013.
Next Year We Will Be
• Facilitating innovative programs and tours that re-imagine how visitors interact with Shaker history.
• Sharing the process of historic preservation with the public as we restore the Great Stone Barn and the Brethren Shop.
• Engaging a broad audience by showcasing our collections on the web and publishing a new annual journal.
• Fostering a community of inquiry with lectures, discussions and opportunities for individual discovery.
