January Events At The New Lebanon Library

The New Lebanon Library announces the following January events. All of these events are free and will take place at the Library which is located at 550 State Route 20.
• January 9, 16, 23 and 30 (event is on Wednesdays) – Tales for Tots Story Hour – 10:30 am. Story hour includes crafts, songs and movement activities.
• January 9, 16, 23 and 30 (event is on Wednesdays) – Hug-A-Bye Babies – noon. This includes age appropriate stories, songs and movement activities for our youngest patrons and their caregivers.
• January 10, 17, 24, 31 (event is on Thursdays) – Bright Beginnings Story Hour and Play Group – 11 am to 2 pm. Meet other parents and care providers while your child aged 0-5 hears a story and then socializes with other children in an unstructured, educational setting.
• January 4 – Coffeehouse Night – 6 pm. Singer/songwriter Linda Worster in concert. Light refreshments will be served.
• January 8 – Kid’s Yoga – 3:30 pm. Please call to register.
• January 10 – Rick Leab in Concert – 76:30 pm. This local musician will perform works for mandocello, guitar and rhumba box.
• January 11 – Family Movie Night – 6:30 pm. There will be a showing of a current film suitable for the whole family. Call for title.
• January 13 – New Lebanon Book Group – 11 am. The book to be discussed is The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey. Newcomers are welcome.
• January 18 – Community Film Night – 6:30 pm. This is a screening and discussion of the documentary “Fresh.”
• January 19 – Paws-to-Read – 9 am. Therapy dogs come to the library, and children read to their furry friends. Please call to register.
• January 24 – Family Crafts Night – 6:30 pm. Make your own cinnamon clay dough ornaments. All materials will be provided. This activity is suitable for the whole family.
