January 25, 2013 By eastwickpress

The Friends of Stephentown Memorial Library are gearing up for Super Bowl® Sunday.  They are changing the three R’s to the three S’s for Super Bowl Weekend. Don’t want to cook that weekend? Stop by the Library on Saturday, February 2, between 10 am and 2 pm and stock up on Soups and  Subs and Sweets.
The talented cooks of the Friends group will be selling sausage, pepper and onion subs and an array of delicious soups served with a roll. The soup flavors so far are vegetarian black bean, split pea and ham, lentil with kielbasa, sixteen bean with sausage and chili. All will be pre-packaged and can be easily reheated the next day. There will also be an assortment of goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth, including cakes, brownies, cookies, cupcakes and more.  Sweets will include gluten-free items.
Enjoy the weekend and leave the cooking to your Friends! All proceeds will be used to help with Library operation and programs. Spread the word to all your friends and help us make this fundraiser a success.
All proceeds go directly to support the Stephentown Memorial Library. For more information, call the Library at 518-733-5750.
