St. Mary’s Students Sweet On Soldiers

March 8, 2013 By eastwickpress

Ms. Stevens’ First Grade class at St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls decided, for their third year in a row, to send Valentine packages to the troops for Valentines Day. Each grade level is in charge of a service project and sending packages to the troops is such a rewarding feeling. The entire school, pre-k-3 through eighth grade, brought in all kinds of items to send. Ms. Stevens met with Kathy Buckley, founder of Military Mom in Action, to help pack and send all 12 boxes. We are so very proud of what we do here at St. Mary’s!
