Athena Burke’s Music Sanctuary To Open In Cambridge

April 12, 2013 By eastwickpress

Everyone is invited to the open house at the brand new Music Sanctuary, a joyful performing arts center, on Saturday, April 20, from 4 to 6 pm.  The Music Sanctuary, the creation of local singer-songwriter Athena Burke, is a concert hall and movement space on the third floor of VARAK Park, 15 West Main Street, in Cambridge, NY. Come check out the gorgeous freshly painted loft and hear original uplifting music. Admission is free.
Burke is a devotional musician and spiritual teacher who has been performing since childhood.  She went to the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston where she honed her jazz skills and studied advanced composition and arranging.  After attending Berklee, Burke studied many spiritual and healing modalities, becoming a master coach and spiritual counselor. For the past 20 years, Athena has had an international private practice, as well as traveling the world training holistic professionals and performing concerts.
The Music Sanctuary will be an oasis filled with music and movement, community and unity.  Look for upcoming concerts by Athena Burke and other inspired local and traveling performers, including the Sanctuary’s kickoff-Athena’s upcoming CD release concert on May 11, to celebrate Mother’s Day and Music!
