Barbara A. Jeskie

Hoosick Falls – Barbara A. Jeskie, 66, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013, at the The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls, NY. She had resided on Burchard Avenue in Hoosick Falls.
Born on September 11, 1946, in Cambridge, NY, Barbara was the daughter of Geraldine Kirk of Cambridge and the late George Burch. She was educated at Cambridge Central School and Mildred Elley College. She was employed at Tyco in North Bennington, VT, in the Shipping and Receiving Department. Barbara enjoyed being outdoors, going to the ocean, knitting and, especially, spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls.
Survivors other than her mother, Geraldine, include her daughter, Amy Sutton and husband David of Hoosick Falls, her son Joseph Jeskie and wife Jennifer of Cambridge, her sister, Laura Porter and husband John of Cambridge and two grandchildren, Ryan and Ehan Jeskie. She is pre-deceased by a son, Christopher Jeskie, and a grandson, Devon Jeskie.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090, who are handling the arrangements.
