New Lebanon Family Dollar To Open In May

April 19, 2013 By eastwickpress

The Family Dollar store in New Lebanon’s Valley Plaza is now looking toward a May opening date. According to the chain’s Public Relations Manager in North Carolina, Bryn R. Winburn, the location “is slated to open on May 16.” [private]The recognizable Family Dollar sign has been affixed to the building and work crews are hard at work at the site preparing the old New Lebanon Supermarket location for the first shipments of discount gewgaws, gimcracks and doodads. While New Lebanon still lacks a full-sized supermarket, Family Dollar will in the meantime bring to the Town such sustenance as canned alphabet pastas, oatmeal cream pies and instant tater tots.
