Saturday, May 4, will be a busy day at Cheney Library in Hoosick Falls. We will start the day with our monthly Book Sale. This month the special will be four paperbacks for $1. There are lots of other titles in hardcover that you might be interested in as well as children’s books. The Book Sale runs from 8 am to 1 pm.

At 10 am in the Library Master Gardener Towne will speak to us about the 2013 growing season, planting seeds, harvesting, cutting flowers and more. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Cheney Library as a part of the 90th birthday celebration of the Library.

Book Fair

From 10 am to 3 pm in the Hoosick Falls Fire House Community room there will be a Book Fair sponsored by the Friends of Cheney Library. The proceeds from this will go toward making our children’s room.
