On Wednesday evening, May 1, a fire on Brenenstuhl Road in Hoosick resulted in the total loss of an older mobile home. Hoosick, Pittstown, Hoosick Falls and North Hoosick received the fire call and responded. [private]The Hoosick Fire Department used its large capacity tanker to get the blaze under control while water transfer was being set up along Spicer Hill Road. The water was brought from a small pond on Fish and Game Road. No one was injured in the blaze.
