A Wild Edible Plant Program will be held on Sunday, May 12, from 10 am until 4 pm at the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center, 475 Dyken Pond Road, Cropseyville. Learn plant identification, foraging techniques and how to prepare many delicious native wild edible plants. This spring program will focus on seasonal availability of shoots and greens. Whether you’re a complete novice with wild plants or an experienced forager, you will gain something from this class.
The fee is $15 per person, $12 for members. Pre-registration is required and can be done by contacting the Center at 518-658-2055 or dykenpond@fairpoint.net.
