Attending last Thursday's Democratic Chicken Barbecue at the St. Stanislaw Polish Hall were the following candidates: Ben Patten, running for Rensselaer County Legislator, Bill Shiland, III, running for Hoosick Highway Superintendent, Mark Surdam running for Hoosick Town Supervisor, Michael Hickey and Dave Sutton, both running for Hoosick Town Council seats and Town of North Greenbush Justice Josh Sabo, who is running for the County Surrogate Court Judge seat.
