A Food Drive In Honor Of Kay ten Kraft

August 2, 2013 By eastwickpress

submitted by Laurie Perrin
A Memorial service for Kay ten Kraft will be held on August 3 at 1 pm at the Stephentown Federated Church. Kay was a dear and cherished friend to many in the community. [private]She was a marvelous fiber artist who loved to share her knowledge with anyone who was interested in the fiber arts. She loved people and animals, and she shared this love by being in several knitting and spinning groups. Her love, laughter, and joy of life was infectious and inspired many of the people who knew her. Her sudden death was shocking to all, and she is deeply missed by all who loved her.
To help us honor Kay’s memory, a food drive is being sponsored in her name to help the people in the community. There will be collection boxes for non-perishable items and monetary gifts in both entrances of the Federated Church during the memorial service. Any donation is very much appreciated. Please come and share your memories of Kay with her family, friends and the community she loved.
