The Village of Cambridge presents the Roadside Blues Band on August 4 at 2 pm as the last band of its summer concert series.
Anyone who has seen the Roadside Blues Band perform knows that not only are they the most authentic and deeply rooted blues musicians in these parts but that they are the best of friends as well. Approaching the anniversary of their twelfth year together, Billy Lanchantin (guitar), Michael Krauss (harmonica), Mitch Throop (bass) and Peter Maine (drums) have an organic quality to their playing and singing that is playful yet inspiring.
Please bring your chairs and blankets; snacks and cold drinks will be provided by a local not-for-profit organization.
In the event of rain or a terrible forecast the concert will move to the Railroad Passenger Depot on Broad Street; signs will be posted at the gazebo if the concert is moved. The acoustics in the Train Station are fantastic, and the building is beautiful, so rain or shine the concerts are a great experience.
For information about the concert, visit the village website at cambridgeny.gov or contact the Village by phone 518-677-2622.
