Hoosick Planning Board Action – Cell Tower Improvements

August 23, 2013 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
At the Town of Hoosick Planning Board meeting on Monday, August 19, Planning Board Attorney Denis King presented a draft resolution to the Board granting a Wireless Telecommunication Permit to AT&T for improvements to the cell tower on Wilson Hill Road. [private]The Board reviewed and approved the resolution.
Johnson Hill Road
Kendal Baker appeared before the Board for an initial conference on behalf of Robert and Kimberly Shaw who own 94.5 acres straddling Johnson Hill Road. Baker said the Shaws plan to sell the house and 25.5 acres on one side of Johnson Hill Road and retain 69 acres on the north side of the road, using the road as the dividing boundary.
The Shaw subdivision was placed on the agenda for the September meeting.
Marker Road
Marge and Richard Marker appeared before the Board for an initial conference regarding 24.59 acres of land they want to subdivide on Marker Road. In 1990 the couple sold property to their daughter. In 1998 they sold their house and 25 acres, and in 2003 they sold 69.25 acres. The division of the remaining property into two parcels makes the entire property a five lot major subdivision. The Markers will return to the Board in September with a completed environmental form and a sketch plan of the properties.[/private]
