August 2, 2013 By eastwickpress

Hoosick Falls – On Friday, July 26, 2013, Lucille “Lu” Farrara, 71, went from the arms of her loving family at her residence in Cambridge, NY, to finally meet her God and Savior face to face. She had resided with her loving husband, Joseph Farrara.
ob-FarraraBorn on November 27, 1941, in Bennington, VT, Lu was the daughter of the late William and Doris (Niles) St. Hilaire. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls, NY. Lu was employed at BOCES in Queensbury, NY, as an aide. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and going to the beach, and she loved animals. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas when she loved to prepare the dinner for everyone. Lu is looking forward in heaven to a small garden where she and her dad can enjoy working together.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Sisters of St. Joseph or the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090, which is handling the arrangements.
