Ryan Carpenter of Stephentown was among those recently recognized for academic excellence at the end of the 2012-2013 year at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.
Carpenter was the recipient of the Academic Excellence in Biology/Chemistry, which is given to a Biological Sciences or Biotechnology student who has shown academic excellence in the areas of biology and chemistry.
