BCS Girls JV Looks Forward To The Challenge

The Mountaineer JV Girls Soccer team had an amazing scrimmage against Lee on Wednesday, September 4. The first half score was 2-0, with Alissa Babcock scoring the first goal and Andrea Walker the second. Midfielders, Elysia Mars, Lyndsey Miller, Emma Bowen and Sarah French along with strikers Madison Rascoe and Hannah Burdick, supported the intense play while the strong defense of Jordan Cahill, Kiernan Sykes, Christina Shupe, Taylor Meyer and Kaelea Forrest helped to finish with a 2-2 tie. Goalies Liz Houle and Brianna Royce’ made many saves.
Last Friday the JV girls  played Hoosick Valley. Although losing 3-2, the team played an intense game. Goals were scored by Jordan Cahill and Lyndsey  Miller, assisted by Elysia Mars. Goalie Liz Houle made several saves. Undaunted, the Girls JV looks forward to another chance to challenge these teams.
