Hungry for good government in Hoosick? Hoosick First and the Town of Hoosick Democratic Party are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, September 27, at the Polish Hall from 5 to 7:30 pm to give the public an opportunity to meet the Hoosick First/Democratic Candidates for the upcoming November 5 Town election – Mark Surdam for Town Supervisor, Michael Hickey and Dave Sutton for Town Council, William Shiland III for Highway Superintendant, Sue Stradinger for Town Clerk and Tom Restino for Town Justice. Tickets for adults cost $10 and are on sale at Thorpe’s Pharmacy or from Bob Ryan at 686-4857, Mark Surdam, 686-0745, Maggie Casey, 686-3028, Marie O’Neil, 686-4829, Ellen Scott, 686-7769, Bob Melesky, 686-5069, Kevin O’Malley, 686-9460, Michael Hickey, 203-8798 and at the door.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under. Takeouts are available.
