submitted by Miss Olivia
Twenty-three of Miss Olivia’s students from the British School of Ballet in Hoosick Falls recently put on a one hour dance recital for the residents at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls. The dance numbers consisted of classical ballet, lyrical, Irish step dance, tap and gymnastics. The dancers ranged in age from four to 20 years old.
[private]The residents enjoyed the recital very much and made a lot of comments about how beautiful the dancers and their costumes were. The dance students also enjoyed performing for the residents. The residents especially enjoyed six year old Levi Dodge from Berlin who performed a solo gymnastic routine. They thought he was “adorable.”
The students are from Berlin, Cambridge, Bennington, Petersburgh and Hoosick Falls. For more information about classes at the school call 686-9440.
