BES PE Fun Day
submitted by Kasson Sauer
Berlin Elementary students had a blast enjoying their Physical Education Fun Day at BES on Friday, September, 27. Mr. Sauer and Ms. Etman created a fun filled day where students in grades k-5 were able to participate in numerous activities within the school building and on the outdoor fields. [private]Students battled in tug of war, the 50 meter dash, a sports relay race, and got wet racing in the sponge bucket brigade.
Students were also involved in musical activities, learning rhythm with Mr. Greenberg, and artistic activities, learning drawing techniques with Ms. Jackie. The Berlin PTO provided Popsicles to each and every student as a treat to cool them off after all their hard work during the Fun Day. Each student received his or her very own ribbon for excellent participation.
Mr. Sauer and Ms. Etman would like to thank all parent volunteers, BES teaching staff and custodial staff as well as the PTO for their help in making this day fun for each and every student.
