9th Annual North Hoosick Fire Dept. Free Christmas Bazaar

November 27, 2013 By eastwickpress

Help Put A Smile On A Child’s Face This Christmas

The North Hoosick Fire Department will sponsor its 9th Annual Free Christmas Bazaar to be held on Saturday, December 21, from 9 am to 12 pm at the Fire Station on Rt. 22. This year the Fire Department is asking area businesses and individuals to donate new or like new items for this bazaar. Cash donations are also welcome and can be sent to the Fire Department. These donations will be used to purchase new items such as clothes, toys, shoes and games for children. Help make the holidays special for some families.

The bazaar is held each year to help out the needy families in the area who are not fortunate enough to provide a nice Christmas for their children. Our goal is to put a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning, and, with the help of the community, we can make it happen.

Rules For Families Receiving Gifts

• No kids are allowed to attend on the day of the event.

• The Fire Department will supply one bag per customer or family.

• There will be no re-entry to the facility.

Anyone who would like to donate items to this bazaar can bring the items to the Fire Station on Rt. 22 on Monday evenings between 6:30 and 9 pm or contact John Lettre 686-9141 or Alan Bornt at 378-4538. If necessary, the Fire Department will pick up your items at your home.
