The Hoosick Falls Kiwanis Club supports our local Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, HFCS scholarship, Key Club, K-Kids, Food Pantry and Youth Center. In addition to these charities, the Club has assisted with the building of the Albany Medical Pediatric Trauma Center and continues to support them.

In total the Club donates to 50 local charities and this years’ Governor’s Project is Autism. Anyone interested in joining the Club should contact Wendy at 686-4910. Come help your neighbors!

2013-2014 Kiwanis Service Projects

Every year, your Kiwanis Club and the New York State District’s Governor chooses a different service project to bring attention to and assist with research. This year’s Governor’s project for the NYS Kiwanis Clubs and Hoosick Falls is Autism. The Hoosick Falls Club will be setting up information tables at local events and holding fundraisers to assist with research.

The First Lady’s project this year is “Supporting our Troops.” Your local Club will join together with the District to collect items for our troops and assistance for their families.

Anyone willing to donate their time or join in these causes, please contact the Club Secretary, Gale Leva, at 518-686-4600.
