HAYC3 Presents The First Ever Pop-Up Holiday Shop At The Armory

December 6, 2013 By eastwickpress

The holiday season is upon us, and the perfect opportunity to do your holiday shopping is at the HAYC3 Pop-Up Holiday Shop at The Armory in Hoosick Falls on December 7 from 9 am to 3 pm. Not only will you be able to check things off your list, you can participate in other activities like the Christmas Cookie Contest and help make ornaments for the community tree in the gazebo in Wood Park. Santa will be there, too!

What Is A Pop-Up Shop?

[private]It’s a temporary market that sells merchandise of any kind. Like any successful pop-up, it combines a great location with a memorable shopping experience for the customer. In this case, it’s a community oriented, shop local shopping experience at the Armory. With booths and tables of merchandise made and sold by Hoosick Area vendors, you can find a wide variety of gifts for friends and family (and yourself) that are hand crafted with care and made locally.

Support the Hoosick community by supporting our artisans, artists, jewelry makers, wood knitters and quilters. Find unique items that have been made by area woodworkers, ironsmiths and other craftspeople. Local non-profit organizations will be on hand, too; a donation to a good cause in honor of someone can be a meaningful gift.

Don’t get stuck in traffic. Avoid the mall crowds, the pushing and shoving, the long lines and the look alike commercial gifts you find there. Support your neighbors and local vendors. Keep your money in the community; do your shopping at The Pop-Up Holiday Shop at The Armory on Saturday, December 7, and enjoy a great community event.

For more information, please contact Aelish Nealon at 518-686-9050 or email contactHAYC3@gmail.com.[/private]
