The top bowler for North Warren was Max May with a 211-588. Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Ken Marbot 299, 290, 232-821, Josh McCart 276-674, Kyla Day 192-531, Jennifer Sargood 181-527, A.J. Hurlburt 197-483 and Stephen Surdam 177-460. Top JV bowler was Eric Bloomer with a 187-470.

“Ken had an outstanding day on the lanes. His triple of 821 is the highest in the sixteen year history of the Hoosick Falls bowling program and probably the highest ever in the Adirondack League. After a spare in the first frame of the first game, he had 22 consecutive strikes which earned him a 290 game and a 299. He then finished with a 232 with one open frame in that game for the day for the outstanding triple of 821. Josh McCart also had a great day with a high game of 276 and a nice 674 triple. Kyla and Jennifer also had sound performances which helped for the overall total of the team effort. This week the team put up some great scores which means that all their hard work is starting to pay off! We have three important matches next week against Southern Division opponents which will have a bearing on our overall standing at the end of the season. I hope that we can keep up the outstanding scores,” said Coach Lang.

HF 4                     Hoosic Valley 0

The Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Hoosic Valley on Monday, December 16, by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls now has a point record of 26-2 and a match record of 6-0-1, and Hoosic Valley now has a point record of 7-13. Total match pins for Hoosick Falls was 3,525, and total match pins for Hoosic Valley was 2,975.

The top bowler for Hoosic Valley was Tim Robitialle with a 196-533. Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Josh McCart 266-743, Ken Marbot 235-633, Jennifer Sargood 235-562, Kyla Day 206-558, Stephen Surdam 194-533 and A.J. Hurlburt 199-496. Top JV bowler was Jon Bossoni with a 181-523.

“This was another good team effort especially after we struggled in the first game. We were down going into the eighth frame when we started striking and making spares, and they started having open frames. Then in the second game we started out slow again but pulled it together half way through the game. We made some good adjustments during those games to get the win. Josh and Ken had another good day followed by good games by Jennifer and Kyla. They do a great job keeping each other up during a game. They have really come together as a team and support each other when bowling either good or bad!” Coach Lang said.
