Campbell received the Section II Field Hockey Coach of the Year award. Her 2013 team went 19 – 1, losing only their last game of the season in the State regionals held near Syracuse. The team outscored their opponents 93 – 7. Campbell’s current record stands at 255 wins, 57 loses and one tie.

Liz Ryan, Madeline Ryan and Carsen Williams were elected to the Section II All Star Team. Liz Ryan set an HFCS single season record with 26 goals, breaking Coach Campbell’s record. Madeline Ryan, a midfielder, scored four goals. Carsen Williams, a starter since she was a freshman, scored 11 goals. This is Williams’ fourth time as an All Star.

Former Olympic field hockey star, current Brown University coach and 1988 HFCS graduate Jill Reeve was guest speaker. Reeve’s first head coaching job was at Miami Ohio, where she spent 10 years. In her first season, she turned a 1 – 17 prior year program into a 7 game winner. This was two more victories than the team had had in the previous three seasons. She played in the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, GA. In 1999, Reeve was honored as the United States Field Hockey Association Female Athlete of the Year.
