NLCS & BCS Sectional Soccer All Stars

The Section II Boys Soccer All-Stars were honored at a dinner held in the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs on December 8. Selected in the Central Hudson Valley League from the New Lebanon team were Martin Pedersen, second team honors, and Justin Bingham and Conner Feathers, fi rst team All Stars. From the Berlin team were John Schatz and Matt Rokjer, second team honors. Cody Seel, CHVL league high scorer, was selected to the first team All Stars, and Jackson Burhans was chosen as the first team All Star goalie. Justin Bingham, junior for N.L. earned a nomination for Section II Player of the Year in Class D. Jackson Burhans, sophomore, for Berlin was nominated as Section II Goalie of the Year in Class C. Although neither player got the award, this was quite an accomplishment as all fi ve Section II teams won their Regional Championships and made it to the semiquarter fi nals in the State Championship playoffs. Congratulations to the New Lebanon and Berlin players.
