Congressman Chris Gibson arrived at Hoosick True Value in heavy snow on Tuesday afternoon, December 17. The Congressman was there to present the Bradley family with a flag flown over the U.S. Capital Building on July 1 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of J.A. Bradley and Sons, an electrical firm established in 1913. [private]Congressman Gibson said the flag was flown as a tribute to a family of five generations that have served the needs of their community. They are a tribute to the values of America, he said. He spoke of Christian Bradley’s commitment to the military as a Colonel in the Army National Guard. He praised the HFCS football team for their successful year and added he was proud to have been a part of the team that appointed Louis Weierbach to West Point. “This is a great community,” he said, “and J.A. Bradley’s has been a part of it for 100 years.”
