HAYC3 is in the midst of its annual fund raising. Check the HAYC3 website for a letter from Board President Michael Baker listing all the accomplishments of HAYC3 in 2013. The goal is to make 2014 an even better year. That requires funds, hence the fund raising.
To sweeten the donating pie, HAYC3 Board member and owner of Contessa Racing, Gary Contessa, has made a generous offer. [private]He said, “I am going to try something here and see if we can raise some money for a really good cause. In addition to a few horse related charities I am also Vice President of the Hoosick Falls Youth Center. This Center really reaches some very deserving people and does so much for the community and the children of the Town. Many people in this community would be in big trouble if not for the work of our center and Executive Director. Like everyone else we need money. Here is what I am willing to do:”
• Donate $10 and you get a Contessa Racing T-Shirt and a visit to the barn any time you like.
• Donate $25 and you get an Equine Meet and Greet and the opportunity to spend a morning with us at the barn as well as two T-shirts.
• Donate $100 and you and your family get four T-shirts, a morning at the stable, including the opportunity to ride a thoroughbred, and breakfast with the stable help.
• Donate $250 and you will get a lunch at the races and Jockey, Paddock and Owner Meet and Greet.
• Donate $500 and Gary Contessa will spend a day with you at the races and take you to dinner afterward – for up to four people.
• Donate $1,000 and you will get a day at the races for up to 8 people with equine, Jockey, Owner and celebrity Meet and Greet experience and an open invitation for any morning you like at the barn with breakfast, meet and greet and T-shirts.
The barns are located at any race track that Contessa Racing has horses including Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct.[/private]
