Artful Wednesdays At SLCA

January 31, 2014 By eastwickpress

Starting on Wednesday, February 5, Sand Lake Center for the Arts will offer Artful Wednesdays, a quarterly artistic series designed for adults interested in day classes.  Learn about photography – you will explore different types of cameras, plus how to take portraits, landscapes and wildlife.  Make a beautiful basket using chain, twill or chase weaving styles.  Write a memoir, using poetry or prose, or create pieces of writing for your family to cherish.  Learn how to draw a still life, paint using watercolors or carve and make a  block print.  All classes cost $25 per class plus materials fees where applicable and start at 1 pm. If anyone is interested in taking one or more of these classes, please sign up online at www.slca-ctp.org or call 518-674-2007.  SLCA is located at 2880 NY 43, Averill Park, and is fully handicapped accessible, with plenty of free parking.
