At the first Hoosick Planning Board meeting of the year, Chairman Jim Dunigan asked for approval to appoint Karen Jennings as secretary and Denis King as Planning Board attorney. [private]The Board approved. The Board also approved continuing the meetings on the third Monday of the month, except when a holiday falls on that day. The Eastwick Press is the official newspaper, and the minutes of the meeting will be published on the Town website.

Anyone wishing to be on the agenda shall notify Chairman Dunigan ten days before the scheduled meeting.

Orebed Road

William Sparks appeared before the Board for an initial conference regarding two 30 acre parcels on Orebed Road in East Hoosick. Sparks is unsure at this point how he wants the property divided. He will return to the Board next month with a plan.

Brimmer Farm

Chairman Dunigan recused himself from the Board when Bill Johnston, in an initial conference, presented the Board with some plans for a major subdivision on the Brimmer Farm in Hoosick. Johnston pointed out that 80 of the 120 acres of this project will be used for conservation purposes. The lot sizes for the remaining development have not been determined at this point.[/private]
