Nearly 300 Enjoy An Afternoon Of Skating

On February 2 the First Baptist Church of Hoosick Falls and the Hoosick Falls Girl Scouts held their annual Afternoon of Skating from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at the Town Skating Rink on Barton Avenue in Hoosick Falls. The public was invited to attend; there was no admission fee or charge for refreshments. There was only a $2 skate rental fee if anyone needed to rent skates. The event was a great success as nearly 300 enjoyed the warm afternoon spinning around on the ice, drinking hot cocoa and eating hot dogs and cookies.
