U.S. Congressman Chris Gibson, seated at left next to Town Supervisor Larry Eckhardt who is also a member of his Agricultural Advisory Committee, visited Stephentown and attended the Stephentown Federated Church Annual Dinner on Saturday, February 22. Eckhardt said it was a good chance for the Congressman to meet a lot of local people on a neighbor to neighbor basis, including one of his former teachers at the Ichabod Crane School. "I really enjoyed spending time with everyone at the Church," Gibson said, "and I appreciate all the volunteers who worked so hard putting this together. It's clear to me that Stephentown is a place where neighbors look after neighbors. I know you are proud of your town and rightly so. It is an honor and privilege to work for you. I look forward to being back in Stephentown soon." Photo courtesy of Congressman Gibson's Office.
