U.S. Congressman Gibson Visits The Stephentown Seniors Club

On April 17 U.S. Congressman Chris Gibson addressed the Stephentown Seniors on senior issues and more. [private]Topics covered were Social Security, cost of living allowances, Medicare payments, The Older Americans Act, overnight hospital stays without being admitted, The Farm Bill enactment, the high cost of electricity, renewable energy projects such as solar and wind power, the oil pipeline, hard rock mining, nanotechnology and securing our borders. Congressman Gibson welcomed and answered questions from the group. He told of his passion for family farms, a strong military and listening to his constituents. The Congressman is an area resident and a family man.
