Cambridge 4                          HF 3

In what would have been their second upset in two days, the Panther Boys Lacrosse team fell just short Thursday. After trailing 2 – 1 at halftime, the Panthers kept pace when each team scored two goals in the third period. The Panthers couldn’t get a ball in the goal in the fourth quarter to even the game, and Cambridge came away with the win.

Mark Hackett, Damon Dubois and Noah Labarge each scored one goal for HFCS. Chris Shielding had eight saves in goal.

Cambridge 8                           HF 1

In a totally different outcome a day later, the Cambridge Indians weren’t going to let the Panthers in this game. Cole Voltra scored the Panthers goal. Shielding had 11 saves.

HF 15                     Voorheesville 1

Adding to their impressive win total for the year, the Panthers beat Voorheesville Tuesday. Derek Bird led the way with four goals; Charlie Whitman added two.

The Panthers finish the regular season Thursday, May 15, with a home game against Maple Hill. The game will be at Hoosac School and begin at 5 pm.
