Panthers Win Versus Cambridge A Bright Spot

After traveling to Stillwater Monday afternoon, the Ladies softball team grabbed a 2 run first inning lead. The Warriors came right back in the bottom of the inning with four runs of their own. Stillwater added two more runs in the third. The Panthers tried to make it up in the final inning, scoring two more, but came up a couple runs short.

Chelsea Stevens had three singles in four at-bats with three RBIs.  Maddy Ryan had a double.

The Panther bats came alive Tuesday scattering 19 hits over the Cambridge field. Hot hitting Chelsea Stevens, along with Ashley St. Onge and Ashley Stevens each went 3 for 5. Maddy Ryan also went 3 for 5 with a double and two singles. Abby Gilson went 2 for 3, including a double. Alyssa Ellis got the win on the mound, giving up five hits.

Hoosic Valley 10                             HF 2

Hoosic Valley got out to an early, three run lead and kept adding to it as the game went on to down the Panthers Wednesday afternoon. Liz Ryan went 3 for 3, including a double and two singles, and she scored two runs.

On Thursday, May 15, the team will travel to Tamarac for a 4:15 start. On Friday, May 16, the team will face Waconah (Dalton, MA) at home for the last regular season game. Game time is 4:30 pm.
