Petersburgh Fire and Ambulance received a call at 3:30 on Monday afternoon about a woman in distress near the Petersburgh Pass. [private]The woman was with her son and was able to call for help on a cell phone. She was about a half mile up the trail towards the Snow Hole and was having leg cramps and fainting. Emergency personnel carried her down to the parking lot in a Stokes Basket, where multiple ambulances were waiting. The Grafton ambulance transported her to Samaritan Hospital for medical attention. The Berlin Fire Department and Grafton Fire Department also responded and assisted at the scene.[/private]
