Valedictorian Katelyn Harrison plans to attend Clarkson University in the fall, where she will major in aeronautical engineering.

Throughout her four years at Hoosick Falls High School, Katelyn has been recognized not only as a scholar but as an athlete and a class leader as well. Katelyn played field hockey and served as captain of the lacrosse team. She is vice president of the National Honor Society, yearbook editor, Key Club treasurer and a member of the school’s Masterminds team – a fast paced, academic competition for high school students with a format similar to Jeopardy. She is the daughter of William and Gina Harrison of Hoosick Falls.

Salutatorian Zoey Haar plans to continue her education as a member of the founding class of the Minerva Institute, a unique four year undergraduate education through which students study in different metropolitan locales each semester, starting in San Francisco the first year then traveling to Berlin, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, Mumbai, London and New York in the following semesters. She is undecided on a major.

In addition to excelling academically, Zoey participates in numerous extracurricular activities, including the Panther Post as editor, the National Honor Society, Pep Band and Drama Club, and she served as DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) representative. Outside of school, she is a private violin student and a member of the Green Mountain Youth Orchestra. She also is a member of the Bennington Marauders Swim Team.

Zoey has received the University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Scholarship, St. Michael’s Scholarship, NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Physical Education Leadership Award and the Bennington Marauders Swim Team Coach’s Award. She was also named a John Liporace Scholarship finalist.
