A brief special meeting was held by the Petersburgh Town Board on June 9 to appoint a new Deputy Town Clerk. Only one application for the position was received.
[private]Deidra A. Michaels was appointed as Deputy Town Clerk 1. She will be taking on the duties and responsibilities of the Town Clerk for the remainder of 2014. Brigitta Schmidt will remain as Deputy Town Clerk 2.
Michaels was then sworn into her new position by Town Justice Richard Snyder.[/private]
