Town Of Hoosick Summer Camp Opens Next Week

June 27, 2014 By eastwickpress

by Steve Bradley

The Town of Hoosick Summer Day Camp is being offered again this year. Several great programs are available to children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old, including a weekly trip to Grafton Lakes State Park.

The camp is organized into six one week long sessions, with the first session beginning on July 7. This session includes free tennis lessons for ages 7 and up. The last session begins on August 11. Each child is more than welcome to attend one session or as many as all six. Drop-off time is 8 am this year, and pick-up time has been extended to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Arts and crafts, weekly themes, firehouse fun, karate demonstrations, talent shows, nature walks and outdoor water games are just a few of the many fun activities planned for this summer. All camp counselors undergo a training course and are highly experienced. We hope you are just as excited as they are for camp this year!
