Frank H. DeTraglia Jr.

Eagle Bridge – Frank H. DeTraglia Jr., 81, died on July 7, 2014, at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He had resided on Old State Road in Eagle Bridge, NY, with his wife Ruth (McQuad) DeTraglia.

ob-Frank DeTragliaBorn on October 7, 1932, in Edmeston, NY, Frank was the son of the late Frank H. DeTraglia Sr. and Loisetta (Humes) DeTraglia. Frank enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and his flower gardens. He was a passionate carpenter who liked to make things for his farm animals and friends.

Survivors, other than his wife Ruth, include his four children, Mary King and husband Michael of White Creek, NY, Sue Blair and husband Mike of Buskirk, NY, Frankie DeTraglia and wife Marlene of Watervliet, NY, and Michael DeTraglia and wife Theresa of Eagle Bridge, his brother, Bob DeTraglia of Brookfield, NY, and his sister, Marylou Guilbealt of Cresent, NY. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Frank is pre-deceased by a brother, Fay DeTraglia.

Funeral services were Thursday, July 10, at 2 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls, NY. Burial followed the service at Island Hill Cemetery, Buskirk, NY. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
