Can-A-Palooza Almost A Rain-A-Palooza

August 8, 2014 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson

Eagle Scout candidate Reid Crobok is doing several projects for the HACA Food Pantry to earn his Eagle Scout Award. On Tuesday evening, August 5, he and other Boy Scouts from his Troop were set up to collect foodstuff at Can-A-Palooza in Wood Park. [private]Three’s Harmony, the group of Shari Hand, Krissi Fauler and Wayne Willson, one of the best musical groups in the area, performed.

Turnout was good, considering 3’s Harmony sang in the gazebo under very dark skies, with rumbles of thunder heard in the background. There was a smattering of rain drops, but they were not enough to discourage folks from enjoying the music. The cost to listen was food items or donations for the food pantry.
