On Monday, August 11, pre-trial motions were filed in Schaghticoke Town Court on behalf of former Hoosick Town Supervisor Keith Cipperly. On November 25, 2013, Cipperly was charged with Official Misconduct and Falsifying Business Records in the second degree.
According to Rensselaer County Acting District Attorney Arthur Glass, Jr., “It appears the case is headed towards a trial.” Glass added that things could happen that might change that status between now and Cipperly’s next court appearance on September 8.
Continuances
The case was moved from Hoosick to Pittstown to Schaghticoke. Cipperly first appeared before Schaghticoke Judge Jamie Thomas on February 10. The case has been continued monthly since then.
