Lake Lauderdale Young Angler Fishing Tournament

Forty-nine young anglers and their families spent Sunday morning, August 17, fishing on the shoreline of the Washington County Park on Lake Lauderdale in the Lake Lauderdale Improvement Association’s 18th Annual Fishing Tournament. They caught and released 105 fish.

Winners

Grand Prize – Largest Fish – Nathan King, 21 inch pike.

Age 1-6 year olds – 1st Prize – Kennedy McLenithan -14” bass,  2nd Prize – Elijah Barnes – 12” bass, 3rd Prize – Peyton Young – 10” large mouth bass

Age 7-9 year olds – 1st Prize – Breona Donisthorpe – 15” bass, 2nd Prize – James Toleman – 14” bass, 3rd Prize – Isaac Toleman – 13 ¼” bull head

Age 10-15 year olds – 1st Prize – Jacob Toleman – 14” bass,  2nd Prize – Danielle Leahy – 12½” bass,  3rd Prize – Josh Landry – 11” bass

Youngest Fisherman – Neven Salls – age 2,

Most Fish Caught – Justin King – 9
