October 3, 2014 By eastwickpress

Come out on October 7, from 6 to 8 pm for our last full moon paddle of the year at Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center. This guided tour is the perfect way to experience our lake surrounded by fall foliage and watch the full moon rise. Kayak tours are limited to 15 people. Canoes or kayaks can be rented at a rate of $10 per boat. Pre-registration is required, and boaters must be 16 years or older.

Dyken Pond Center, located at 475 Dyken Pond Road, Cropseyville, is a Rensselaer County Park open daily during daylight hours for hiking, fishing and non-motor boating. Contact the Center for more information at 658-2055 or dykenpond@fairpoint.net or visit www.dykenpond.org for directions and a complete schedule of fall events.
