Attorney Edward J. Gorman To Address HACA Volunteers

The Hoosick Area Church Association is pleased to announce that Edward J. Gorman, Esquire will be the keynote speaker at the HACA Volunteer and Sponsor Appreciation Brunch to be held on October 25 from 10 am to noon at the First United Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Gorman, a native of Hoosick Falls, has practiced law in the Village for 14 years in the areas of civil and criminal litigation and elder law. He was previously a partner in the firm of Halliday & Gorman, LLP with offices in Albany and Cooperstown.

Mr. Gorman held the position of Deputy Mayor of the Village of Hoosick Falls from 2001-2003 and was the Village Justice for the Village of Hoosick Falls from 2003 to 2007. He currently serves as President of the Board of the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls, President of the Board of CiviCure and Trustee for the Immaculate Conception Parish. He said, however, that his most important role is overworked bus driver for his three children.
