Hoosac School Donates Barn Quilt To Village

On Wednesday, October 1, Hoosac School Headmaster Dean Foster and Trustee Jay Higle presented Hoosick Falls Mayor David Borge with the Red, White and Blue Schoolhouse 2’x2’ Barn Quilt created by Martha Raab-Hall that was auctioned off at the HAYC3 Harvest Moon Dinner Saturday evening.

Foster said the Hoosac Trustees were donating the Quilt to the Village in honor of the three great schools in the Hoosick area. They are Hoosac School, Hoosick Falls Central School and St. Mary’s Academy.

Mayor Borge said he was very pleased to accept the quilt as a symbol of collaboration in the greater Hoosick community.
