November 21, 2014 By eastwickpress

Do you need outside tools sharpened before putting them away for the season or a knife made ready to carve that holiday ham? Come to the Malden Bridge Community Center at 1087 Albany Turnpike on Saturday, December 6, when the services of the Delmar Knife Sharpener will be available to handle the sharpening for you.

Rates range from $3 and up for knives and other kitchen cutters while garden items range from $5 and up and includes pruning clippers, hedge trimmers, etc.

You may bring your possessions starting at 10 am and leave them with an approximate time in the afternoon for pick up and cost given before you leave. No items will be taken after 2 pm in order to allow time for all items to be sharpened and picked up. In the event of a storm the event will be postponed until Saturday, December 13. For further information contact the Center via email at maldenbridgecc@gmail.com.
