HFCS Financial Aid Night

January 9, 2015 By eastwickpress

submitted by Jessica Balch 10-12 School Counselor

On Tuesday, January 20, at 7 pm in the H.S. Auditorium, Joseph Gorman, Manager of School Counselor Services at the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation, will be conducting a program on financial aid for all interested parents and students.

This informational evening will acquaint participants with the financial aid process, application procedures and common award practices.

For the first part of the presentation, Gorman will present an overview of regulations, forms, formulas and procedures.

For the second part of the presentation, he will give parents/guardians pointers on how to complete the FAFSA form.

I strongly recommend that all college bound students and their parents attend this workshop. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the financial aid process and understand aid packages offered by schools.

Reserve By Monday

Please contact the College and Career office at 686-7321 x1510 by Monday, January 12, to RSVP for the workshop.
